Daniel Anidupe, popularly known as Kiss Daniel is a graduate of Water Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State. His intent was to seek employment in a bank if music did not work out, luckily he tried music and he is blooming in it.

Daniel Anidupe

Daniel got the name, Kiss Daniel when he was in school. He explained that he has a dimple in his cheek and in school, when you had dimples in both cheeks, you get to be called Kisses and since he had just one, he was called Kiss. Because there were other Daniels in school, the ladies added Kiss to his first name to tell him apart from the others. when he went into music he decided to stick with the name.
At the age of 11, Daniel used to write songs and most of the songs he wrote were about food. His dad acknowledged his talent and encouraged him. He gave him money to record his first song with Jahbless in 2008. His mum was supportive too, but she was scared because she thought he was going to join bad company. Daniel met Jahbless through his cousin when he was in the university, he used to hang out with him and Reminisce. He stayed with Jahbless whenever he was in Lagos and he let him record songs. He discovered him and brought him up. Daniel recorded a song in 2008; that was the song his current Chief Executive Officer listened to and decided to sign him on.

Daniel Anidupe

Woju is not Daniels first song. He wrote it three years ago when he was in school, but just recorded it a few months ago. He said it was inspired by some of the good songs he listened to.

When I listen to songs like that, I strive to make something that would sound better. Sometimes, I get inspiration by just sitting and hearing tunes play in my head, he said.

Well, to all the single ladies out there, Kiss Daniel is neither married nor engaged as we speak. But he says that if he meets someone today, he could get married soon because the coast is clear. By the time he becomes very famous, it might be difficult to find true love. Lol…
He also said that he is doing music because of the love he has for music not the money.
Kiss Daniel has released the remix to his powerful hit track, Woju with Davido and Tiwa Savage.

An interview conducted on the brain behind the name BIONIC MEDIA on the 15th of March, 2015;
What is Bionic Media Company about?

bionic media

Bionic Media is a media/events (entertainment) company. It is the organizer of Mr Anambra Universe which has two successful editions already. The third edition will be done later this year. We also launched our female Pageantry last week which is titled Miss Anambra Tourism.

Can you tell us more about this Miss Anambra Tourism?

Well, the first edition is fixed for mid this year, precisely July. We started publicity already and the audition is for the 31st of May, 2015. We believe we set the pace and break barriers.

What benefits does one get from winning your pageants?

1009758_176751509161106_1864267080_nOur winners don’t just win star prizes which we usually deliver on. All our winners are proud owners of brand new cars and have gone from being ordinary people to becoming celebrities known nationwide. Furthermore, our winners go to represent the state in National pageants.
The first four winners go for Mr Universe Nigeria, Mr Tourism Nigeria, Nigeria International Super Model and Mr Earth Nigeria respectively, and we have produced three National winners.

What are your achievements so far?

We can proudly say we are the biggest male pageantry in South-east, Nigeria. Like I said earlier we have produced three National winners. Our maiden edition winner .i.e. Mr Anambra Universe 2013, Francis Beacon represented Anambra state at the Mr Universe Nigeria and emerged winner. He is the current Mr Universe Nigeria. The first runner up for the maiden edition with the title, Mr Tourism Anambra, Divine Ezike also contested for Mr Tourism Nigeria on that same year and emerged the winner also. He just handed over last year. Then our second edition 2nd runner up, Model of Anambra 2014 contested for Nigeria International Super Model 2014 and also emerged winner. The other winners are yet to go for their national feature which is coming up this year. The Mr Anambra Universe 2014 winner, Slami Onah will be representing Anambra at the Mr Universe Nigeria 2015 come September, so we can proudly say we have put the state on the road map of the modelling and entertainment industry in Nigeria. We hope to replicate the same story with the birth of our female pageant.

We have started a very laudable project for our winners. Our winners are not just frontiers in the fashion and modelling industry, they will be embarking on these projects. We have developed and structured a model for a pet project to benefit the kids of Anambra state. It is called the ROOM TO READ project. The winner of the maiden edition, the current Mr Universe Nigeria, Francis Beacon did a school tour across the state visiting major schools for the sensitization program in respect to the ROOM TO READ project during his reign in 2013/2014. He has passed the mantle down to the current Mr Anambra Universe 2014 winner, Slami Onah.

What inspired the organization of BIONIC MEDIA COMPANY?

The dream all started after I emerged 1st runner up i.e. Best Model Universe Nigeria at the maiden edition of Mr Universe Nigeria 2011. I enjoyed all the thrills and paparazzi but it dawned to me that after one year of reign all that would be history. So I racked my head for a way of not making the opportunity and exposure a waste. Then I thought of giving back to my home state of origin, that gave birth to BIONIC MEDIA and organizing of the pageant.

Wow! This is awesome. How did you go about the organizing of your first pageant?

I thank God. We got no sponsor oh; it was personal funds and support from friends and family.

So, you have achieved all this within the space of two years and also want to push further into the female aspect. What do you intend doing?

Like I said before we are organizing the maiden edition of Miss Tourism Anambra 2015. The auditions will be on 31st of May so interested ladies should purchase their bank tellers at Diamond Bank and go online on www.missanambra.com to register, the winner not only gets to be a car owner but also represents Anambra state at the National level, be the Girl on the Magazine Cover and other fabulous prizes.

In the line of advanced Begging

$

0

I am not a misogynist, no! I love and respect women a lot but the things I see today make me doubt this respect I have. Begging is the present participle of begging, and to beg means to request the help of someone, often in the form of money, for example he begged in the street corner from passers-by.

In this country we have so many road side beggars and this have been a nuisance to the society but these set of road side beggars are not who we are talking about today.
Hmm…what is he trying to say you might ask? Well, I’ll break it down for you; ladies in Nigeria are not lazy. In fact, they are more hardworking than men and they have the ability to do whatever they choose to achieve greatness. They even do it better than men.

begging

Okay, you are still confused, probably saying where is this dude driving to? We all have witnessed first-hand the brutality of the ladies in this country. Pardon my use of the word brutality but that is what I see it as. Most ladies prefer to depend on men for their daily bread not minding how the money comes. They are parasites clinging to their hosts and the worse is how they can quickly switch to another host when the first one has depreciated. These ladies can find real work but wouldn’t and the society calls them lazy. BIG FAT LIE! There is nothing lazy in taking out time to shop for the most provocative outfits, come on that takes determination and commitment, or buy the best make-ups to perform artistic masterpieces on their faces just to get the attention of the vulnerable men who would end up being their personal Central Bank.

Most ladies are advanced beggars, it is their job. I say this because they can ask for the littlest of things; I need recharge card, buy Smoov chapman for me, I want sharwama and ice cream, get Shortbread for me, etc. this are but a few things ladies ask for.

begging
They complain that they are not given the respect they deserve as members of the society, but ask yourself this ULTIMATE QUESTION; how many road side beggars out there are given respect? You are just a step up from the regular beggars and you are seeking respect. Come on, that ain’t gonna happen. Not in this life or the next.

Kudos to the ladies who pursue big dreams by working in firms or owning their own businesses so as not to be dependent on any man, you have my respect any day and any time and I love you… please, the advanced beggars stop this trend before you totally annihilate the effort other responsible ladies put to build a reputation for the women folk. begging
I believe I have said enough for this morning. Remember its diligent to work hard both men and women, achieve greatness through the right way and be happy… abi I no talk true? Good morning.

Eva, at the age of 5

eva alordiah   Elohor Eva Alordiah popularly known as Eva Alordiah or simply Eva, was born on the 13th of August, 1989 to Nigerian parents from Delta State. She was born in Abuja. She got introduced to music by her mother who listened to musical recordings from the 70’s and 80’s. Eva has cited Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Sade Adu, The Carpenters, John Lennon and Don Williams as her musical influences. Eminem’s “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” inspired her to pursue a professional rap career. When she was 7 years old, she partook in several forms of art while in her adolescence. She sang in her church’s choir, and joined the drama club while in secondary school. Growing up, she was fond of drawing and reading books.
At age 10, she wrote a short story in her notebook, and dreamt of being an author.

After learning of Eminem, she began to write rap verses. Eva’s love for words and rhyming pulled her deeper into the Hip hop genre. At age 16, she found herself balancing school and business. With an ambition to make money and become independent, she started auditioning for acting and modelling roles. She sold second-hand clothing in school as a means to an end. Eva began her career as a photography model. She took pictures and auditioned for several jobs. She graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Bowen University. Eva alordiah

JAMB Computer-Based Testing, a disaster…

JAMBITES holding hands like they be singing kumbaya…lol

jambIt was on the 10th of March, 2015 that this so-called JAMB CBT commenced. Its preparation voiced hope and promised improvement to the Nigerian students who write this exam. But it so happened that most centres experienced disappointment. Imagine a situation where you come for a 6am paper and you begin writing by 12noon. That isn’t all; your computer keeps tripping off due to bad power supply. This was exactly what happened on the 11th of March, 2015 at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam-Anambra state.

The centre was over-crowded with Jambites who had exams on that day by 6am, 10am and 1:30pm respectively. Even some candidates who failed to write from the previous day were present. The scenario looked like a refugee camp or an election campaign. By 3pm, the candidates for the 10am exam were asked to line up for entry, boys on one side and girls on the other. The boys were asked to go in first and this agitated the girls. Some minutes after the boys entered the girls began pushing and bent the gate of the AFRIHUB centre. Things were getting spicy. We instantly got a report that there was riot at Port Harcourt because of the same problem. The sun scorched and people started getting more restless.

JAMBITES standing on a cue… (hands on your neighbor’s shoulders-ish)

The bent gate

By 5pm the girls for the 10am exam were checked in. now it was the turn of those for the 1:30pm to get crazy. Nna men! I laugh no be small as I watched the JAMB officials directing the Jambites to stand on a single file and put their hands on their neighbor’s shoulders. Then hold hands together, boys on one side and girls on the other to enable them walk in a single line. It was hilarious as it reminded me of Primary school. As much as what I saw was funny, it was also painful and annoying because I could imagine what the candidates were passing through. As at 9pm the candidates for 1:30pm exam were still yet to enter the hall.

jamb

Please this CBT should be put to a stop, at least with paper and pencil JAMB can be written in one day by everyone. You have to also check out this video from that day for better understanding of the painful situation

10 Bitter Truths About Adult Life

This will probably tag me as a sadist but leave religion aside and look at things logically, you will see that I am right. These are 10 bitter truths about adult life;

  1. Complete honesty is a complete lie.
  2. Marriage is sacred only to those who have never been married.
  3. Money has more room to grow happiness than romantic love.

Nintendo Video Game Company Goes Mobile

Nintendo

All time Video Game, Nintendo hits a new stage as the company is set to make its games and characters mobile.

Nintendo recently surprised the tech world with as it allied with Japanew mobile gaming firm, DeNa. This new merger will have both companies develop games for smart devices.

TalksFriendite also learns that the new collaboration will let users play games across Computers, Laptops, Mobile devices and Nintendo’s own consoles like the 3DS and Wii U and this begins this year.

Nintendo says they will not port existing games rather there would be a creation of new titles from ground up in order to ensure a perfect gaming experience expected from such collaboration.

Nintendo and DeNa are said to be taking a qualitative approach rather than a quantitative one as they are not geered towards flooding the market with vast number of games.

Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata while speaking at a press conference revealed that talks began as early as the summer of 2010, but became more concrete last year. Iwata admitted that Nintendo wasn’t able to transition to its handheld

consoles “as smoothly as expected.”

So this alliance will pay off financially for the conpanies as both sides will make 22 biliion yen ($181 million investments) in each other.

Nintendo

DeNA is a less popular company founded in 1999, based in Asia where it is more known. However, it is a multi-billion dollar mobile games firm in its own right. It initially emerged with the growth of web-based mobile games in Japan and its Mobage service, but over the past few years it has transitioned into apps making acquisitions along the way, including the $400 million purchase of Ngmoco , and social games maker Punch .

DeNA has had financial pitfalls, hence this recent action could make it better for the company as recent financials saw revenue drop 17 percent year-on-year to $287 million. Operating profit was down 55 percent to $43 million, so we can safely say that this tie-in with Nintendo could be a very important turning point.

Bitter truths about adult life continued

bitter truthsOkay, I know I seemed a bit nonchalant yesterday when I shared the 10 bitter truths about adult life bluntly. I’m sor…(chuckles) was I about to say sorry? Don’t mind me, I’m here with more. You will surely thank me some day for this tips. I am sure of that.

So let’s get down to business, here are more bitter truths for you;

  • Unimaginable has been the word I use to classify the things that life has to offer. Sometimes it’s funny that we can’t control some choices it makes for us or things it makes us do.
Sincerely, what you read above is just fallacy because I don’t believe in being controlled by things unseen, come on! It just isn’t possible.
  • The only way to get smarter is by playing a smarter opponent.
  • The first rule of business is to protect your investment.
  • There is no avoiding war, it can only be postponed to the advantage of your opponent.
  • It is only when you face someone’s problem that you can understand how he or she feels. Don’t ever judge by what you see or hear…my dear, go experience that shit.

It isn’t an offense to speak up, you know? Air your views if you think I am wrong or believe I am misleading the society. Knowing something is one thing but believing in it, that’s another.

bitter truthsWe all have to buckle up and be better people in life. Life will surely throw bombs at us, our stamina and accuracy in receiving and throwing it back is what counts, so don’t just stand there and shed tears when your worst fears get to you or you see what you feel is betrayal, nah!…tighten your sit belt because you are in for a bumpy ride.

Bear in mind that I do this because i care about you, my readers. I wouldn’t like any of you to be caught unawares by this mischievous dude we tagged LIFE.

Apple watch, bound to be a new addiction

According to a MarketWatch report, a man named “Zeng” from Guangzhou, China told police that he was selling drugs to finance his Apple Watch purchase. He had his eye on a mid-level Apple Watch Steel version, which will start around $668 USD in China, as opposed to the starting U.S. price point of $549.
Zeng, 21, was arrested on Tuesday at a train station after trying to sell drugs to a friend. Thanks to Apple’s intense focus on China, we can probably expect more of this.

apple watch
Apple has been very clear with its planned trajectory in China. The company wants to expand its current list of 15 retail stores in China to 25 by the end of the year.
Yesterday Reuters reported that Apple may face issues pushing the Apple Watch in China not only because of its notably higher price tag (the top-end Watch Edition model starts at $11k+ USD and tops out at $18k), but because of existing knock-offs in the Chinese market as well as less demand for health-related products.
Obviously, Zeng’s crime of Apple Watch passion is pretty anecdotal, but it will be important to take a harder look at these two price points as Apple enters its target market with this new product category. apple watch
The Chinese consumer on the lower end of the luxury market, as characterized by Business Insider, is looking for brands that attract at an impressive but not back-breaking price point. However, the true luxury shopper (the shopper Apple hopes will buy the gold Watch Edition) may be far more interested in the status that comes along with a watch from Breguet, or Patek Philippe, or Audemars Piguet.
At least in the world of fashion, the luxury consumer is becoming more sophisticated, fading from brands like Louis Vuitton and shifting more towards understated brands that still say luxury without the logo. Still, that bright screen (not to mention feature sets that will incite conspicuous behavior, like taking a call on your wrist) won’t help the Apple Watch keep a low profile. apple watch
Apple has created a lot of electronic status and now the Apple Watch, at least the company is treading an awesome line between a product that must simultaneously act as a status symbol and an understated luxury accessory.
Moreso, at least one Chinese man has sold drugs to afford a new Apple Watch, so the question is no longer whether or not Apple’s Watch line will be a success. With the flexibility in Apple’s supply chain, the company can make it so.
The real question is whether or not the gold Watch Edition, with one foot in the tech world and the other in the fashion world, will win over the hearts and minds of big-spending luxury shoppers, both home and abroad.

for Naija boys wey no go fit afford am

Me sef go like get this kain wrist watch…but I no go dey wear am come out shaaa…na Naija be dis…those wey no go fit afford am, this na the next line of action(picture above). Chinese man sold drugs to purchase the watch, Naija man steal the watch to purchase drugs, simple.

  • If I say that Nigeria is doomed, am I wrong?
  • If I say that soon we’ll lose trading rights with other countries, will I be stoned?
  • If i say that very soon, and I mean very soon, Nigerians will not be able to visit any other country even Togo, does that make me a bearer of bad news?

Answer these questions but answer wisely and without sentiments. Imagine that a match was cancelled yesterday because of our dreaded boko haram. Now, it doesn’t pain me that a match can be cancelled because of terrorism, you know that no one wants to die but we all wanna go heaven. bolivian football

The Bolivian National football team called off its international friendly match with our very own Nigeria which was due to take place at the new Akwa Ibom International stadium in Uyo on March, the 26th.

At a press conference in Santa Cruz, California yesterday, the president of the Bolivian Football Federation (BFF), Carlos Chavez said armed conflicts in Nigeria as well as political tension forced them to cancel the match.

The armed conflict in Nigeria and the tense political situation forced the cancellation of the game.

See packaging!!! Choi!!!

POLITICS! POLITICS!! POLITICS!!! Shey una don see how politics wan take destroy this country? I thought people ventured into the game of politics to help govern the society and make it a better place but what do we see in this country’s politics?

People killing, people dying, look around and you see children crying. This isn’t fair. NAIJA go beta, NAIJA go beta…I have heard this since I was a little man and I’m still hearing the “BS”. How can we get better when everyone has only his/her selfish interests at heart. Okay, see friendly match wey we for use shine, im fit be say the Bolivian team dey fear Super Eagles kum use boko haram and the Goodluck/Buhari fracas as excuse. It is very possible but if these things weren’t there we would have found out. bolivian football

Bolivia please you guys should come and play soccer oh! Nobody go do you anything, na we dey here, na we get am…lol!

Do not mind my mindless ranting, run as far as your legs can carry you.

If Nigeria doesn’t wake up from the spell of political condemnation then this is just the beginning of many more losses. GOODMORNING

Marvel Studios will keep doing marvels

marvel studio

As fans prepare for the onslaught of awesomeness that will surely be unleashed in less than two months with Avengers: Age of Ultron, speculation about the direction of Marvel Studio’s Cinematic Universe continues at a steady pace. However, while everyone has been looking forward, it now seems as though a new theory has discovered a critical occurrence in the film that’s widely considered the black sheep of the MCU, Iron Man 2. If it proves true, then the movie may have given us witness to the birth of what could become one of the critical weapons in the massive franchise in the near future.

In a speculative piece by Movie Pilot, a theory is presented that Tony Stark’s investigation into his father’s research in 2010’s Iron Man 2 may have a critical role to play in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the details of the theory are heavily mired in fictional scientific forte, the idea is actually rather simple: Tony Stark used his father’s research to create an element that has the same magical cosmic quintessence that powers The Tesseract – which you will also remember is one of the Infinity Stones.

As one may recall from the film, Tony finds himself desperately looking for a replacement power source for his Arc reactor since he was being killed by palladium radiation (creating those unsightly veins growing out of his chest). After deciphering the clues left behind from his father, including a film, some conspicuously designed architecture, and journals, Tony creates an unnamed mystery element powerful enough to keep his life-saving device going while also stopping radiation poisoning. marvel studio

While it was an integral moment within the confines of the film, itself, very few of the speculators chalked it up to anything more than character-building with a hint of MacGuyver-esque constructional montages. However, the aforementioned theory posits that the mystery element may have been the continuity’s first touch the larger cosmic world.

Further strengthening the claims about the cosmic nature of the mystery element is the fact that in Captain America: The First Avenger, young Howard Stark (played by Dominic Cooper) does manage to get his hands on The Tesseract after Cap seemingly dies. This was even foreshadowed in the contemporary-set Iron Man 2 where Tony is leafing through his father’s journal:marvel studio

Now, here’s where things get even more interesting. In The Avengers, Loki attempts to use his magic scepter to point at Tony Stark’s heart and whammy him like he does so many other characters in the movie (including Hawkeye and Erik Selvig). However, for some unknown reason, it was unsuccessful. Since it is generally assumed that the gem in Loki’s scepter is either an Infinity Stone or something related to the Tesseract, it could be the case that the spell failed because the power behind it was matched by what Tony already had in his chest – either cancelling it out or exploiting the interconnected element’s own inability to inflict self-harm.

If the theory proves true, then Iron Man 2 may have planted some extremely integral seeds from which a key weapon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be used – specifically in the Avengers: Infinity War films. It should, however, be noted that the novelization of the Jon Favreau-directed sequel refers to the mystery element “created” by Tony Stark as Vibranium – the same fictional, lightweight, virtually-indestructible material used to create Captain America’s shield. This does fit rather well, as Howard Stark did have access to the miraculous material in Captain America: The First Avenger, and at the same time is still rather significant, as Vibranium is a material very closely related to the story of Black Panther (who will be getting his own movie in 2017).

All of this sounds like an amazing theory that would display an exceptional sense of long-term planning on the part of Marvel Studios for something that could pay off in tremendous fashion. Until anything is confirmed, though, we should probably take it all with a grain of salt.

Make Online Payments With Facebook

Facebookpayment

Facebook just keeps hitting us with some big news all the time. If they are not giving so many settings on your privacy that confuse you so much that you forget privacy, they are probably monitoring and committing to memory your unpublished status updates.

This time, the social network has decided its time they help you send money to people within same Facebook.

When you chat with friends about settling debts or splitting the bill, Facebook doesn’t want you to have to open another app like PayPal or Venmo to send them money. So yesterday it unveiled a new payments feature for Facebook Messenger that lets you connect your Visa or Mastercard debit card and tap a “$” button to send friends money on iOS,Android, and desktop with zero fees. Facebook Messenger payments will roll out first in the U.S. over the coming months.

Rather than lean on a payments company like PayPal to power the feature, Facebook built it from the ground up from its experience processing over 1 million payments a day through its ads and games platforms.

Transactions and payment info are encrypted, and Facebook says “These payment systems are kept in a secured environment that is separate from other parts of the Facebooknetwork and that receive additional monitoring and control,” from an anti-fraud team.

By making payments part of its oft-used messaging service rather than a standalone app, Facebook is looking to edge out dedicated P2P payment competitors like Venmo/PayPal, Google Wallet, and Square Cash, which people open less frequently. That’s the same strategy as the Square Cash-powered Snapcash feature Snapchat launched in November.

One would think, what’s the point of using other payments company when I can do that via Facebook.

Here is How It Works…

Once users get the feature, they’ll see a “$” button in the Messenger message composer next to the options to send a photo or sticker. When they tap it, Facebook will ask them to enter their debit card info. Users won’t have to fiddle with finding and entering bank account and routing info, making it easier than some alternatives, but they can only use Visa and Mastercard debit cards. Facebook decided against allowing credit cards because they would entail fees and it didn’t want users to get charged if they didn’t understand.

For extra security, users are prompted to set an in-app payments passcode or Apple TouchID fingerprint to confirm transfers, though they can opt out of this extra authentication in the settings. If users already have a debit card on file with Facebook from gaming, ads or donations, they can use that, too.

Once the $ button is tapped, users enter the dollar amount and hit Pay. The money is instantly taken from their debit account and delivered to the recipient’s debit account. Facebook never holds the money, though the receiver’s bank will usually take a few days to make the funds available as is standard. Both users see a confirmation message detailing the transfer status and time.

In case anything looks fishy, Facebook will ask users some extra financial security questions before a transfer goes through. Afterwards, users can see all their previous payments and funds received in the Payments History section of Messenger’s settings.

Now that’s some innovation! If this payment system succeeds, Facebook will most likely extend it to other types of purchases, such as consumers’ purchase of products directly from advertisers.
