Kevin Hart
Kevin Darnell Hart popularly known as Kevin Hart is an American actor, comedian, Writer and producer. He was born on July 6, 1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Hart’s Early Life
He was raised by his mother, Nancy Hart who he portrays as a loving, but intimidating woman. Nancy Hart died from cancer in 2007. His father, Henry Robert Witherspoon, was a cocaine addict and was in and out of jail throughout most of Kevin’s childhood.
My dad said I was supposed to be on drugs. I was like, ‘Dad, shut up,’ but then I thought about it, and it was stupid, but it made sense. He was saying that basically he was my example to never go down that road
Kevin Hart attended George Washington High School in Northeast Philadelphia, he also attended Temple University for two years, then he moved to New York City to attend Community College.
Career
Kelvin Hart worked as a shoe salesman in Brockton, Massachusetts. Then he performed in an amateur night club in Philadelphia, before he pursued a career in stand-up comedy. When asked how he discovered his comic side, Kevin Hart said:
I was probably around eleven. My mom was about to whup me, whup me with a belt. I said something she couldn’t help but laugh at, and I thought I might be funny. Cause if I could stop a whupping with comedy, I’m doing the right thing.
At first, Kevin Hart’s comedy career was rough, he had several failed attempts, he was booed off the stage several times and at one time a piece of chicken was thrown at him. He was persistent in succeeding, so he competed in several comedy competitions in Massachusetts. He had to make his comedy unique by using his life experiences and insecurities and that gave his career a bright turn. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Hart said:

In 2009, Kelvin Hart appeared on Comedy Central in such specials as “I’m a Grown Little Man” and “Seriously Funny”. From there he landed roles and earned wider recognition in films and he came to prominence from his guest appearance in Undeclared, and then films as 40-yar-Old Virgin”, “Soul Plane”, and “Little Fockers”. Since then, Kevin has appeared in dozens of film and TV shows while still maintaining one of the most rigorous national comedic touring schedules around. As of December 2013, Kevin Hart has appeared in more than 30 feature films and 20 television shows. He has a net worth of about $40 million.
Personal Life
Kevin Hart got married to Torrei Hart, a comedian in 2003, they had two children Heaven and Hendrix. On February 2010, they filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences and the divorce was finalized in November 2011. Presently, he is engaged to model Eniko Parrish since August 2014.
Kevin Hart sees the humor in life experiences and makes fans take a cold hard look at the things everyone thinks but is too afraid to say. He’s irreverent, bold, and somewhat brass.
