Sister, Stand here with me
Stand Here With Me is a little poem I wrote while listening to some nice rock songs and alternative songs. Most times writers get inspiration from their environment and surroundings but some get theirs from every aspect of living. I am an example of such; I think I see things in a very different way from others. I could write an article from anything ranging from a bird pecking on a tree, a man sleeping with his mouth open in a bus, the sound of a stereo system inches away from me, the color of a lady’s bra and many more.
Anyway, read up this poem I call ‘Stand Here With Me‘ and tell me what you feel.
Stand here with me
Can’t stop my sacrifice, nothing lasts forever
One last breath, won’t go home without you
Wake up call, who’s got my back?
Little of your time
Freedom fighter makes me wonder
Bullets, if I never see your face again
Stand Here With Me
With arms wide open she will be loved
Young grow old, this love inside us all wash away the years
Wake up call
Higher, makes me wonder
With arms wide open she will be loved and never die
Hello faceless man, wrong way
I say sweetest goodbye on this beautiful Sunday morning
What if I must get out?
Are you ready for this love?
One of us isn’t coming home so what’s this life for?
Secret ain’t no sunshine
Sister, wasted years unforgivable
The Sun becomes an illusion in America
Stand Here With Me
Harder to breathe but get pity for a dime
Tangled in my own prison I’m through with you and your ode
Don’t care if you get torn and shiver on this Highway to Hell
If I fell under the Sun it’ll be harder to breathe
But she’ll be loved on this beautiful Sunday morning
Stand Here With Me
This love, this love, this love makes it harder to breathe
Rag doll, sweetest goodbye
Not coming home… I’m through with you
So what do you think? Hope you enjoyed it?
