So we have just David Igwe, no siblings? Or parent?
Good, na now u come, I am the first of 5 children, with my lovely mom, Dad is late. Am from UDI local government of Enugu state.

You mentioned above, about you being into comedy skits, well I believe I have watched about two or three and they are quite hilarious. But what inspired you to venture into this?
First of all, I love comedy and I know the impact of comedy in the society, and currently in a country like Nigeria, we can’t do without it. It’s our everyday life, so I had to give people what they wanted, I might not be as good as being a stand up comedian, but i know that i can act, so i decided to start up skit-making with my brother and friend Congo (concord Oguejiofor)
All right, that’s a lovely thought, considering how hard life is currently here in Nigeria. But don’t you spend money in the production of all this?
I love this, there is nothing you do currently in this country that you won’t have to spend. we spend money, if not for anything, hiring a good camera is not easy, so money is involved… David Igwe Exclusive Interview
So you’re sure you’re not in this for fame and wealth?
i’m trying to entertain, and when you are an entertainer, you become famous. If God blesses me through my videos, then it’s a good thing. For now am not thinking about the money.
If you aren’t thinking about the money, why then did you venture into it knowing fully well they’re a lot of people already doing such and far bigger than yours?
Am actually not looking at how many people that are making comedy videos, the most important thing is try to set a standard, it’s not about how many, it’s how well and how i share simple and funny life experiences through my videos… David Igwe Exclusive Interview
So what makes yours stand out?
Being versatile
I’m sorry but that’s not an answer, all comedy skit directors or producers are very versatile. So once again, please what makes you stand out?
Sorry you are wrong, you can’t say all directors are versatile . I have a unique approach to any video i make. And its just a different ball game with me. Every director cannot work with the same directing techniques.

Good, we have so many skit makers who started their production with a particular mindset. And a particular pattern of skit making , But i have chosen to touch on all areas of life, the life of a common man, the life of very comfortable man, life in the streets. Some of my skits comes with other concepts that am not ready to expose for some reasons. And most importantly, the rotation of characters… David Igwe Exclusive Interview

Okay that’s nice. So where do you see yourself in 2 years time?
God will take care of that, but i believe that in 2 years time, i would have been able to reach to a bigger number of audiences
Wow, that’s lovely. If I may ask, what has been your challenges so far in this comedy skit productions?
Thank you, finance is really vital in every production, then characters, sometimes getting a particular kind of character you need in a production is not really easy even with friends. Then critics will be there to tell you your flaws. Most people do not know how to criticise a work, they just discourage you without giving you an idea on how to make it better. There was a particular video I made, my close friends condemned it, I was so shy to upload the video, it almost made me stop making videos. Later on, I sent the video to some other persons. Along the line, people started talking about the video and how funny it was.
Well that’s to say peoples’ opinions differ. So what has then kept you going?
The fact that I have a target and a goal. I want to be self-made and God is really giving me the courage, and there are signs of a better tomorrow

Will always say that destiny differs. You don’t hide because you’re scared of competition, or you feel that many people are into this thing. What I like might not be what you like. So be bold, do what pleases you, everyone has his or her own taste and that’s what keeps you going.
