Comfort Fedoke is a Hip Hop dancer, was born on May 20, 1988 in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, retured to the united states at the age of 8 and currently resides in Los Angeles.
She was a track and field athlete but stopped after she sustained an injury then she picked up interest in music, she horned her dance skills by watching music videos, break dance videos and emulating Michael and Janet Jackson. At 13, she battled crews as a street dancer with her brothers and later enrolled into a dance school; Booker T. Washington Performing Arts in Dallas, Texas and she received training in tap, ballet and jazz.
A local television show; Dallas Dance Club 21 was Comfort`s stepping stone to stardom, followed by So You Think You Can Dance season 4 were she became one of the top 10 contestants on the show, and she later came back in season 7, 8 and 9 as an All-star. she has danced in music videos such as T-pain`s video Freeze, Ludacris`s What Them Girls Like, Lee Jung Hyun`s Crazy, Jason Derulo`s Don`t Wanna Go Home , late Michael Jackson Tribute Tour and Justin Beiber`s My World Tour W/Jasmine villegas, and also along with other artists like Big Time Rush, Robin Thicke, Wayne Brady, Owl City, Jennifer Lopez, etc. Comfort also featured in a couple of movies like Honey 2, Glee, Footloose, How I Met Your Mother, and The East Side Story.
Currently, she is Missy Elliot`s main dancer, and a Stylz Play dancer which is an all female crew composed of six girls, created by Sho-Tyme. She is also trying to pursue a career as an artist and rapper, and has released a single Lose Your Mind on ITunes. She caught my interest in Maltina Dance All season 8, were she was one of the judges, she brought fire and passion. Comfort is determined to excel and nothing can cause her to back down, she is surely an inspiration. And her famous quote goes:
