The Rapists in Nigeria
Nigeria is painfully headed for parousia. From my younger years, I watched kobo fade away that now I cannot buy even a cup of filthy water. Then with one naira you can buy drinking water. I haven’t grown old but I have watched naira depreciate with the speed of light. I wonder how we will explain this to the unborn ones that those we entrusted Nigeria to has deflowered the country and made her vulnerable for a romance with all manners of backslide. We have learnt to accept that our naira is nothing.
Light! Even a 60 years old Mama will jump and scream “up NEPA” when electricity is restored. It’s like a celebration and everyone scampers to gets his appliances charged. Few weeks ago, Ghana went agog for no up to 48 hours of power failure but in Nigeria we have adapted to darkness. Can we not revolt? Well how can we when our darling democracy is like autocratic system of government. We just can’t speak. In Nigeria freedom of speech isn’t guaranteed. Nigeria has become dumb.
Now the issue of fuel! A lot has been affected, MTN, AIRTEL and transportation. Light has a great part to play herein. Whereas there is no light there is no fuel to run the generator. If Nigeria is close to parousia then my heart is in my mouth. This country has been polluted by Obasanjo and the rest. I mean if he, OBJ so loves the country he should allow his Otta farm to fund us for a year; just that, out of all his investments.
Did I talk about the missing money? Funds are missing and Jonathan our saintly hero has stolen a lot for himself.
The rapists in Nigeria – Politicians; they don’t care about us one bit. If we die it’s our problem. When Jonathan said the ambition of any politician is not worth the blood of any Nigerian, he said things that should be, but, said it for us to clap and we did. He said he was scared Mama Peace will divorce him because he lost the sentiment to get to us and well he did. They have all they need and care less about us! This is the fact. If only we can decide in one voice to not vote these animals.
Amalgamation: It’s hard to keep two women together. A country with so much people from several works of life, are being made to live in one geographical location. Unity is good, I am a lover of peace but I will say reality be faced.
Tribalism: it has to be my brother else no job for you. He is Igbo. I won’t let him in. Igbo’s too get sense. You can imagine how this cankerworm has eaten deep into our lives. If we don’t adjust our kids, unborn will eat sh*t. As for me I will marry an American (winks)
Godfatherism: this is insanity. These Godfathers impose people on us like men are imposed on girls in the northern part.
Drop your opinion in the comment box. Even if democracy has lost it’s meaning in Nigeria, I am unequivocally entitled to my opinion hate it or like it.
Lastly, Dear president elect, you are here again on the hot seat, I neither voted you nor wanted you but the mantle has been placed upon you. I ask that you straighten out all the wrinkles on our face. Pick the politicians and not “thieficians” and let jobs get to the youth.
I owe no apologies, I am black, I am a Nigerian, this isn’t libel I am but entitled to my opinion.
