DOES HOLLYWOOD RACISM EXIST?

Hollywood Racism is one definite topic that has kept me at the edge of my sit for a very long time now. I have been thinking of the right time to pour out my heart on what they have been doing to our black folks, well! I just found the right moment.

I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, Emmanuel I. Peters a.k.a Auracle (Brand Artiste of Friendite Global Limited) some days back and he brought up the topic haunting me since; “HOLLYWOOD RACISM“. Yes! Hollywood Racism! Funny but true… so true that it is the ‘Truest thing in the Truest Community’…lol!

Anyway, this was what he had to say,

I love Hollywood no doubt but… I still feel there’s an itsy bitsy teeny weeny bit of racism. I mean why do I gotta believe that every black man in a movie apart from Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Forrest Whitaker, has to die? I’m sure you have noticed it

Lol!… I answered yes to that final statement because Auracle was so right in all he said although he forgot to mention Morgan Freeman, now apart from these set of ni**s every other ni**a has to die. Bulls**t!!! Well, Auracle didn’t stop there though, he continued,

I mean the black guys get to die some really stupid death. I just saw a new movie and a black guy was starring in it with five white guys and I was like, “you gonna die brother”

I laughed so hard it hurt in my own ears. Hollywood Racism. He continued bursting my brain saying,

Don’t get me wrong. You have one black guy with five white guys and the black dude dies foolishly… it’s disturbing. I mean I have to be sure that when I’m given a role in a hollywood movie it doesn’t have to end with me dying

Yeah! The nigga is allowed to dream. He wants to act for Hollywood and I hope he gets there, and not only that he gets there but that the Hollywood Racism doesn’t catch up with him.

Hollywood Racism

I am a hundred percent in support with what my friend, Auracle said because I have seen the Hollywood Racism myself in several movies. These are a few of such movies; Z-Nation, Burn Notice Season 7, Hunger GAmes, The 100, Breakout Kings, Setup, Tears of the Sun, House of Nine, Wolverine ‘X-Men Origins’ and the most spectacular and craziest is X-Men 1st Class. In that movie the only member of the X-Men that died was the black dude who was actually meant to be the one with the power to adapt to survive anything…
