BROOD OF VIPERS
Brood of Vipers… Strange topic, I know but let’s look into it. First and foremost what is a brood of vipers? According to Matthew 12:34, in the King James Bible Jesus said to the Pharisees, “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh…”
Lol! I brought in the Bible to this because that’s where the inspiration came from. Anyway, Brood of Vipers can also be called Hypocrites. Yeah! I said that, HYPOCRITES!!! People who live around us; you know them, I know them. I actually prefer to call them LIARS. They live imaginary lives in their own world of fantasy and prefer to make people feel less of themselves.
You have seen them in your schools or places of work, you have also seen them in church, also on television; did I say ‘also’? I meant to say ‘mainly’ on television. If my brain serves me correctly they are popularly called ‘ITK: I too know’ in Nigerian pidgin. Most of our so-called celebrities are full-blown vipers, in fact they are the actual Brood of Vipers although our everyday folks also falls into place.

At school, they are mostly the kids trying to fit in by forming a lifestyle that they truly don’t live. Ask them about the weather in UK and they would tell you they prefer the one in London or that they would rather go for the summer holiday at Russia in December.
‘Practice what you teach’ is a popular saying used by people but let me honestly ask, how many people actually practice what they teach? Do you? I believe it’s more like practice what you feel is safe and teach what you know. Everybody believes that they are without fault but in pidgin, ‘nah dem do pass’, which means they are the ones who actually have the most faults. Brood of Vipers
It is time we have a life lived and not destined, men stock power and wealth and frivolous things they think will make them whole but they never do. Brood of Vipers all around us… just pray they will cease from existence, harsh right? But that’s just how I feel though.
